Dear WMHS Swimming and Diving Families,

I am excited to introduce myself as your new head coach for the swimming and diving team! My name is Ryan Repice, and I am thrilled to be leading this incredible group of student-athletes this season. I look forward to getting to know each of you and working together to make this a fun, rewarding, and successful season for everyone involved.

My Coaching Philosophy & Expectations
My approach is simple: I want each athlete to give their best effort, be on time, support their teammates, and, most importantly, have fun. We are a team, and we will celebrate every success, both big and small. I believe that creating a positive and encouraging environment is key to individual and team growth. I’m looking forward to seeing how each of you contributes to the team dynamic this season.

Important Team Information – SwimTopia App/Website
We will be using the SwimTopia app/website to communicate important updates, schedules, and team information throughout the season. You can find the Watkins Mill’s Swimming & Diving Team website on SwimTopia at: https://rinesswim24.swimtopia.com. I will be regularly updating the app with news and any necessary changes. You will also use SwimTopia to notify me about swimmer availability for each meet.

I’ve registered both swimmers and parents/guardians using the email addresses provided during registration. If you need to update any contact information, or if your swimmer has a USA Swimming Member ID, please be sure to update your profile on the app. Important: Please make sure your swimmer does not use their MCPS email address, as these emails are automatically blocked by SwimTopia.

Band App

I have also created a Band app group for the WMHS Swim & Dive Team. Student-athletes can use this app to directly communicate with me and vice-versa. Ms. Magness will be providing student-athletes with sign-up details.

Practice Schedule
Beginning Monday, November 17, we will practice Mondays and Fridays from 3:00 to 4:00 PM at the Montgomery College (Germantown) pool. Please be on time and ready to get in the water!

Volunteer Opportunities
As many of you know, swim meets require a lot of volunteers to run smoothly. From timers to announcers to officials, we need your help to make sure our meets are a success! Please sign up to volunteer as soon as possible. You can find more information about volunteer roles on the team’s website:

USA Swimming Dive Officials Clinic – Nov 24
If you’re interested in becoming a dive official, please mark your calendar for the MCPS Dive Officials Clinic on November 24, 2025, at 6:00 PM via Zoom. This clinic is a great way to get involved in our swim and dive community. We also encourage all officials to complete the following NFHS online courses before attending:
